Commemorative History Society (CHS) is a group of dedicated reenactors whose aim is to portray the life of the soldier through various historical periods.   CHS is a combat group with an emphasis on battlefield scenarios rather than parade group demonstrations.  CHS also places strong emphasis on original source materials and research.  CHS is an affiliate member of the Royal Australian Historical Society.

Safety is paramount in any activities conducted by CHS and ALL members and visitors go through safety training before each even.  CHS adheres to all current firearms and weapons legislation.

Please note that members of CHS DO NOT in any way support the beliefs and practices of the Stalinist or Nazi era.  Extremist political views and inappropriate political comments made in public will not be tolerated and may lead to expulsion from the organisation.
